Ormoc City, March 13, 2025 – The Ormoc City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Office is actively facilitating the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM) Planning and Budgeting for all 85 barangays of Ormoc City March 13 to 14, 2025 at Sabin Resort Hotel.

This initiative aims to strengthen the disaster preparedness and response capabilities of each barangay by equipping local officials with the necessary knowledge and resources to develop effective DRRM plans. The activity also ensures that barangays allocate sufficient funds to support disaster resilience efforts and emergency response mechanisms.

Key DRRM officials, along with representatives from various barangays, are participating in discussions and workshops focused on risk assessment, contingency planning, and budget allocation.
